This weekend, I could finally photograph the Eastern Amberwing Dragonfly (Perithemis tenera). I have been looking for these for six years and was delighted to find (and photograph) both a male (image 1) and a female. The weather has been lovely these past couple of weeks, and it was perfect for capturing new reference material for my insect-themed art.
