The arrival of the warmer weather in Ontario inspired me to use more summer like colours as well as using different materials and design elements.
I started a new series of paintings; on panels. These are professional quality cradled panels (basswood with solid pine frame) and solid birch panels, which are sealed first and then decorated with newly found and photographed insects as well as fonts and water drops and other fun items. More subjects will follow, but the main focus will be on my six-legged friends.
